How to get started--how it works--what to expect!

Knowing your price range
One of the big items to know when looking at homes, is your price range.
If you are using traditional lending to purchase a home, finding the right lender is a crucial first step.
Shop around! Did you know different lenders can offer you different loan products and even terms?
I have worked with many lenders and would be happy to provide recommendations. Fill out the form at the bottom and I will send over a list of lenders my clients have had success with.

Identify your Needs/Wants
There are so many items that probably already come to mind when I mention needs and wants. Here is a worksheet to help really solidify those or help you get started:

With your pre-approval from lending, and wants/needs in hand, I am ready to start identifying homes for you!

Making Offers
It is a BUYERS MARKET! You have massive leverage to make the offer that is right for you.
I will guide you through the process of analyzing and making the best offer.

Timing
How long will this all take?
Once you make an offer that is accepted, expect around 30 days before being able to move in.
Is it always 30 days? No, it can go quicker, and things can sometimes delay this timeframe. But 30 days is a good rule of thumb for planning purposes.

What happens in between offer acceptance and moving day?
Great question! It's a busy time for your team, we are working to make this process goes smoothly for you. But there will be some things like home inspections, earnest money deposits, and signings on your end.
